Responsibility
- manage bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
- prepare and process payroll transactions, including reconciliations and taxfilings
- perform general ledger management tasks, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate records
- assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- assist with the year-end audit process, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
- participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- assist with special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline
- at least 5 years of work experience in accounting or related fields
- strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects
