maintenance engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical and electronic on-site equipment
- to help develop and complete PPM’s when required
- support factory operatives where needed
- ensure minimal downtime and liaise with the management team to discuss improvements to processes
- to manage your own workload and working closely with management to prioritize work
- have strong electrical/mechanical applications with proven experience of problem solving, fault finding and repairing of manufacturing machinery
Requirements
- have experience in working in an injection moulding machine manufacturing environment
- apprenticeship trained, NVQ Level 3 or higher, in an engineering discipline – ideally multiskilled maintenance engineering with an electrical bias
- PLC experience
- electronics fault finding
- hydraulics and Pneumatics experience
- experience fault finding on Automation equipment
- experience doing both PPM and Reactive maintenance
- good communication and interpersonal skills
