architectural technician
Working hours
- full-time | Contract | Permanent
Responsibility
- assist design team to develop technical drawing packages for residential schemes
- create detailed 2D plans and details using AutoCAD software
- assist in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and material selections
- collaborate with engineers and other design professionals to deliver a coordinated and compliant scheme to the client
- liaise with Building Control and other approval bodies for discharge of technical conditions
- review project requirements and provide input on design feasibility and constructability
Requirements
- A degree in Architectural Technology, or an equivalent UK recognised qualification
- proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Revit software
- knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team members and clients
- ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work independently, or as part of a team
- architectural Technician with approximately minimum 5 years of industry experience. - Strong cad skills to produce a good standard of well-presented technical drawings
