Responsibility

  • to carry out various property management tasks as directed by the Leisure Manager
  • to assist with implementing company policies and procedures to an agreed standard
  • managing and supporting a team of Site Services colleagues, including caretakers, cleaning, sports management and site maintenance
  • putting the customer at the heart of everything we do while retaining a sense of fun
  • derby Leisure and Events Venue is the premier sports and social club in Derby, with a long history of serving the local community, providing a wide range of facilities and amenities, including tennis, football, and rugby, with a gym and indoor sports hall for the more disciplined
  • our conference facilities have the latest technology, air conditioning and complimentary refreshments. These rooms often double up as we are licenced for Civil Ceremonies, including Weddings and other life events
  • we like to do things differently, including attracting the right people
  • we often host charity, social and entertainment events, including live music, dance nights, and other community and private gatherings and banqueting events

Requirements

  • property management-related or other relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree Assoc. RICS or higher RICS membership status
  • knowledge of relevant RICS Guidelines and Regulations and understanding of building control regulations
  • experience in interpreting, advising, and implementing company procedures consistently
  • verbal communication skills to communicate with colleagues and a diverse customer group efficiently and effectively
  • the ability to conduct presentations and training sessions with colleagues and contractors
  • written communication and numeracy skills to produce detailed correspondence and reports
  • the ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting timeframes
  • we are looking for dynamic go-getters who can help drive our business forward using the latest business techniques and technologies, working independently and as part of our growing team
