Responsibility

  • monitor the Mortgage product life cycle, including driving long and short term development
  • provide robust and timely competitor intelligence covering both product and proposition
  • generate and capture development ideas from across the business
  • support the Commercial Manager in coordinating the product and pricing development process via a virtual team across the business- the process covers all product and price changes, front book and retention
  • review products & services and the governance arrangements on their design, approval, marketing and ongoing management to ensure product & service design meets the needs, characteristics and objectives of target market customers

Requirements

  • experience of Mortgage product development from idea to implementation would be highly desirable
  • balance sheet product/retail banking product experience essential
  • A track record of delivery in a dynamic environment with experience of change
  • proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Able to analyse data to identify issues and trends and to provide recommendations and solutions
  • excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to obtain buy-in where required, use strong influencing skills, challenge constructively and focus on what is important
