Responsibility
- overseeing and coordinating the daily schedule of one of the stone processing areas
- ensuring efficient and smooth operations, meeting quality standards at all times
- promoting a positive working environment, leading by example
- collaborate with other supervisors and management on a daily basis
- operate forklift to load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas
- move materials and empty hoppers within the warehouse or production area
- check accuracy of loaded materials against paperwork
- stack and organise products in designated storage areas
Requirements
- excellent communication skills
- valid forklift operator certification or willingness to undertake certification
- proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or production setting
- strong knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for operating a forklift
- ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
