Responsibility
- managing, training and developing the warehouse team and ensuring all team members are clear on role responsibilities
- receiving and checking all goods delivered into the warehouse. Booking in goods received and recording any discrepancies
- packing, wrapping and preparing goods for despatch
- managing efficient storage, FIFO rotation system for stock; keeping accurate stock records
- maintaining and adhering to Health and Safety standards to ensure the safety of warehouse personnel
- this includes keeping the warehouse clean and organised at the end of the working day
- making sure that all machinery e.g
- fork lifts, pump trucks, shrink wrap gun etc are serviced regularly and kept in good order
