Responsibility

  • supporting, designing and implementing new website features and functionality
  • supporting and guiding the website’s architecture
  • ensuring high-performance and availability, and supporting on all technical aspects of the CMS systems we use
  • helping formulate an effective, responsive design and supporting turning it into a working theme and plugin
  • helping add and edit client website content, such as product pages and blogs

Requirements

  • basic understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • some experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
  • some experience designing and developing websites
  • A basic understanding of debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc
  • A basic understanding of CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • A basic level of understanding in converting comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • some basic knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats
  • junior level of understanding of code versioning tools
