Responsibility
- create high-quality technical drawings and plans to ISO 128 Standard
- use a variety of CAD software programmes to create designs in 2D and 3D
- produce 2D parts drawings and 3D parts models for export to production
- liaise with engineers to understand their design requirements
- present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture, and installation
- update and maintain product design files
- ensure that all work carried out is in compliance with company design, safety, quality, environmental compliance, and procedural standards
- carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team
Requirements
- degree or HNC/HND qualification with an Engineering/Industrial design background
- proficient in SolidWorks with a good understanding of parametric capabilities
- experience with Bentley MicroStation Connect edition CAD system or equivalent
- A highly motivated and confident individual with a strong desire to succeed
- able to work unsupervised and in a team
- detail orientated
- A full British driving licence
- residence and the right to work in the UK
