  • input data onto the Sage Accounts system relating to income, purchases and cash and bank
  • control and upkeep of the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier accounts are reconciled and paid within agreed credit terms
  • control and upkeep of the sales ledger, ensuring customer accounts are reconciled and payments received in good time
  • support stock taking across trading activity
  • ensure VAT is correctly accounted for
  • ensure that the petty cash and floats are regularly checked and reconciled
  • assist with any financial and payroll queries as and when required
  • receive, record, and reconcile the daily takings from the trading outlets and ensure that cash is reconciled and banked on a regular basis
