Responsibility
- to be responsible for the overall safe and smooth running of the race event at hand
- to be responsible for managing the Track team and FOH team whilst on duty
- to identify any staff training needs to the Track Manager

- to adhere and comply with Daytona’s Child supervision/Risk Management Policy and procedure at all times
- be fully conversant with the company’s computer booking and timing systems
- to ensure that you have a full understanding and adherence to RIDDOR and accident reporting policy and procedures
- be fully conversant of the Track Training Manual, NKA guidelines and Employee Handbook
- to liaise with other departments to ensure the best possible event for our customers
- race Direct race events with the ability to deliver an entertaining and safe experience for our customers
- to ensure all money handling procedures are adhered to and carried out correctly
- act as a Duty Manager of the venue whilst managing the Track team, Front of House team and customers in a professional and effective manner whilst on duty
- to deal with customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and effective manner and managing conflicts effectively
- to keep up to date with all first aid procedures whilst holding a current 1 day appointed persons certificate
- to assume the role of Duty Manager as and when indicated on the staff rota
- to ensure and proactively sell all merchandise items to every customer and ensure that FOH team are sustaining their targets
- to attend Race Director Meetings and Event Planning Meetings as and when directed by the General Manager
- must ensure that the site is alarmed each night including site open and closing report confirmation to the General Manager
- to attend any work-related courses, functions and or training sessions as and when directed by the General Manager
- assist with the induction and training of newly appointed Track staff whilst maintaining continued development for the existing team in accordance with the Company and Statute requirements
- to liaise with the catering team to ensure that customer requirements are met at all times
Requirements
- have excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form
- have excellent time management, people management and organisational skills
- have bags of enthusiasm and the ability to have fun whilst working
