delivery driver
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- follow planned routes and jobs as instructed by the Transport Office
- notify the customer by phone prior to leaving site that you are on your way to them
- loading and delivering, collecting and unloading of our plastic portable toilets
- daily cleaning and emptying of portable toilets and welfare facilities located at our customers’ sites
- helping the yard team in the depot when required
- carryout daily checks on your service vehicle and equipment to ensure they comply
- safely and responsibly operate a 3.5t Transit service vehicle to deliver and collect portable toilet units to and from our customers sites
- ensure your work is of the highest standard and complete any administration / paperwork associated with each job
Requirements
- ability to adapt to a changing workload when required
- must be able to work on your own throughout the day
- great timekeeping, reliability and accountability
- good communication skills and a can-do attitude with a customer focused approach
- willing to work in all weathers throughout the year due to the nature of company business
- professional appearance and work ethic
- A clean driving license is desirable, or one which has no more than 6 points for minor offenses and has not been banned in the past 5 years. No CD, IN, DR, DD, TT99 endorsements can be accepted
- great attitude to work and a key eye for detail
