Requirements
- GCSE or equivalent
- parts and clothing retail sales experience from within the motorcycle industry could also be advantageous
- the successful candidate will be personable, highly motivated and able to achieve consistently high levels of customer service
- they will also be an effective communicator and must have a passion for motorcycles
- A good understanding of motorcycle mechanics would be beneficial
- good technical knowledge of motorcycles together with the ability to communicate clearly with both the workshop and customers
- A good understanding and experience in basic digital marketing, ecommerce and social media platforms
- the ideal candidate should have a background in Sales/Aftersales from either the motorcycle or automotive industries. However, exceptional candidates without a motorcycle or automotive background will be considered
Responsibility
- marketing to potential new customers and suppliers both in-store and via social media channels and website listings
- where necessary requesting authorization for additional work and resolving all queries to customers complete satisfaction
- organising all data capture to ensure that our customers are communicated with effectively and every opportunity for selling service work and promoting the activity of the Service department is fully maximised
- making sure all warranty claims are handled effectively and to the satisfaction of our customers and that warranty work is completed on time by the workshop
- manage all parts and clothing stock levels through regular maintenance and stock checks and liaise with suppliers to re-order as needed
