Responsibility
- collaborate with clients to clarify project aims, discuss media, software, and technology requirements, establish project timetables, and define budgetary constraints
- conduct research for projects, analyze previous related work, and compare the costs of different processes
- prepare sketches, scale drawings, models, color schemes, and mock-ups to present to clients and incorporate any necessary alterations
- develop specifications and instructions for the realization of projects
- coordinate with other members of the production team to ensure graphic design aligns with other elements, processes, and timelines
- oversee the creation of the final product or produce it directly
Requirements
- completion of a foundation course, BTEC/SQA award, degree, and/or postgraduate qualification in Graphic and Multimedia Design or related field
- NVQs/SVQs in Design at Levels 2 and 3 are advantageous
- strong proficiency in relevant design software and technologies
- excellent communication skills and ability to effectively liaise with clients and team members
- ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- A portfolio showcasing previous work and creative capabilities is essential
- graphic and Multimedia Designer: 5 years
