mechanical design engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products using 3D CAD software
- calculating inverse kinematics
- conduct analysis and simulations to validate designs and optimize product performance
- create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications for manufacturing and assembly
- work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software systems
- develop and implement testing and validation protocols to ensure product quality and reliability
- provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly process
- continuously improve existing products and processes by evaluating and implementing design changes, cost-reductions, and process improvements
Requirements
- bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- proficiency in 3D CAD software
- knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturing principles
- experience with FEA and simulation tools for mechanical design
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- at least 2 years of experience and preferred 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in robotics or related field
