Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- we manufacture platforms, staircases, hand railing, lifting gantries, gates, barriers and much more
- this will be a flexible role based in between our Bridgwater workshop and our client sites completing various projects
- ensure all risk assessments, method statements, permits and COSHH are read, signed and understood before undertaking any work
- operate workshop machinery including saws, rollers, press brakes and drills
- we currently have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a steel fabricator at our site based in Bridgwater, just off the M5 in Somerset
- proficiently operate welding equipment with primarily focus on mild steel
- we are expanding as part of the longer-term strategy for the company and this role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled and experienced team with development opportunities
- examine work pieces for defects. Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers
