Payroll Administrator Bury St Edmunds
The Daljo Group operates 21 Subway stores across East Anglia & the Southwest of England with offices in Bury St Edmunds. We are looking for an Payroll/HR Assistant based in our central office near the Sugar Beet Factory, Bury St Edmunds.You will be working as part of a small central team where you're never just a number and lead by our management accountant in the payroll functions of running Subway stores. This will include:Maintaining employee recordsRecording contract changes that affect paySupport the processing of SSP/Mat pay etcAssist with pension contributions through Nest PensionsPoint of contact for employee payroll queriesSupport basic HR functions such as right to work checksAd hoc admin tasks as requestedThe successful candidate will ideally have previous payroll department experience however this is not essential as full training and support will be given. You should be able to demonstrate efficient ways of working and be able to organise your own workflow ensuring accuracy whilst working at pace.Numerate with strong IT skills.A good understanding of Microsoft Excel functionsGreat communication skills (both written and oral).High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Friendly and approachable whilst remaining professional in a fast paced environment.We are offering part time hours at 16 hours per week over 3/4 days Mon- Fri.
