Requirements
- timed served apprentice or equivalent
- minimum of 5 years working experience in the lift industry
- ability to work on own initiative with minimum of supervision
- qualified to NVQ 3 or 4 level or equivalent
- have a good understanding of lift and escalator functionality, maintenance, fault finding and repair
- ability to deliver well written and accurate reports supported by the relevant computer skills
- full driving license
- lift engineering: 5 years
Responsibility
- maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and always look to promote D2E with a wider audience
- ensure regular communication with all stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of D2E services
- undertake site surveys in accordance with D2E and/or client Health and Safety Policies. All information to be recorded on iPAMS
- carry out testing and witnessing of completed works or installations
- trouble shooting investigations and reports
- compile reports in accordance with client requirements using D2E templates
- follow D2E ISO processes and contractual obligations
- project assurance of lift and escalator modernisation or replacement projects
