Responsibility
this is a term time position
you will be setting up counters, serving students, clearing/washing up and general kitchen cleaning duties
you will also be responsible for all kitchen records, stock control and the supervision of up to 2 team members
we are the catering team at d'Overbroeck's school and we are looking for a great all rounder to supervise the service at our satellite site at The International School in Summertown
in addition you should have good craft/knife skills and experience of working in a similar environment as some basic food prep is required
monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
collaborate with the chef to develop new menu items and specials
ensure that food preparation and storage areas are clean and organized
Requirements
passionate about great customer service with a can do attitude
previous experience as a cook or in a similar role
knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with a team
excellent time management and organizational skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
flexibility to work evenings and day shifts
