lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and motivation
develop and refine menu items, ensuring consistency and quality
ensure all food preparation and presentation meet the highest standards
monitor and maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary
enforce strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
uphold a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation
Requirements
proven expertise in Pan-Asian cuisine, including an in-depth knowledge of flavours, techniques, and cooking methods
strong culinary skills, with the ability to create visually appealing and delicious dishes
familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, ensuring safe and efficient operation
ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities
excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. This would be a great role for someone looking to move up the ladder
