Responsibility
- providing a professional and welcoming reception service to patients, visitors and staff
- answering phone calls and emails in a courteous and timely manner, providing information and assistance where necessary
- managing the booking of meeting rooms and conference facilities
- maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of appointments and bookings
- liaising with key stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals and other staff members, to ensure effective communication and coordination of services
- promoting mental health awareness among visitors and staff and providing support and guidance where appropriate
- ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- assisting with ad-hoc administrative duties as required
Requirements
- A friendly and approachable manner, with excellent customer service skills
- experience in a reception or customer service role
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- good organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work effectively
- flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings
- A good understanding of NHS guidelines relating to mental health awareness
