Working hours

Responsibility

  • supporting the business in contracting for operational projects, including helping colleagues with standard form templates where applicable
  • developing processes and retaining records for review of contracts to completion
  • reviewing and communicating key terms from contractual and other legal documents to project owners across the business
  • assisting with the distribution, recording, filing, and archiving of fully executed contracts and amendments. Maintaining up to date records
  • working in conjunction with colleagues, undertaking necessary work to comply with data protection legislation
  • communicating with internal stakeholders as well as customers, taking ownership of the contracting process
  • drafting, reviewing and negotiation of commercial agreements. This may include, for example, NDA’s, terms, and conditions of supply and/or purchase of Cydar products and software in a timely manner
  • assisting with development, management and maintenance of relevant internal policies and procedures such as, for example, anti-bribery and procurement

Requirements

  • law degree or law school qualification desired. Healthcare or other regulated industry experience would be ideal for this role
  • law firm or in-house experience, particularly in commercial, corporate and/or contract law, ideally across a global legal environment is desirable
  • previous experience as a project manager, or coordinating large projects is an asset
  • previous experience in customer service and strong communication skills is also desirable in this role
  • possesses superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain often complex legal issues in an easy-to-understand manner
  • A self-starter with a desire to exceed expectations
  • business oriented and pragmatic approach to problem solving
