Responsibility
- determining and assessing Cycle Confidents training and employee development needs as well as ongoing Continuing Professional Development
- agree and manage the training budget to ensure best return on investment on all training expenditure
- monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programmes
- keeping up to date with current training methodologies, developments and best practices
- manage and oversee the Cycle Confident Quality Assurance and Development Instructors in their roles delivering Internal Quality Assurance, mentoring, instructor training delivery and support to regional trainers
- managing employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organising the resources to facilitate training programmes
- creating training materials and programmes to address specific business opportunities which align with industry guidelines/requirements
- support in all aspects of recruitment, selection and onboarding of new Instructors
Requirements
- hold a recognised training qualification such as the Award in Education and Training
- 3 years minimum working in the role of a Training Manager
- experience of a growth mindset organisation
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- ability to deliver training to a high standard
- A high level of organisational ability and IT literacy
- excellent written and oral communication skills
