Responsibility
- conduct routine maintenance checks on HGVs to ensure they are in good working order
- diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HGVs
- use schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical systems
- fabricate parts when necessary to repair HGVs
- operate power tools safely and efficiently
- provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns professionally
- perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- utilise hand tools and soldering equipment for repairs
Requirements
- proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
- proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, specifically HGVs
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- excellent customer service skills
- capable of heavy lifting and operating forklifts
- familiarity with using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs
