Responsibility
- conduct online consultations with patients and assess their healthcare needs
- prescribe medications in line with current guidelines and best practices
- review patient histories, symptoms, and medication requirements
- provide advice on medication, potential side effects, and ongoing care
- ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including GPhC standards
- collaborate with the Curate team, including pharmacists and customer service, to ensure seamless patient care
- keep accurate and detailed records of consultations and prescriptions
- support and provide guidance on medication management, particularly focusing on weight loss treatments, including Wegovy and Mounjaro
Requirements
- A fully qualified healthcare professional with an Independent Prescribing qualification
- registration with a relevant professional body
- experience in prescribing for conditions such as weight management, diabetes, or general health conditions
- strong understanding of digital healthcare services and telemedicine
- excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice to patients online
- strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
