working with transport providers to find the best possible solutions, maximising existing public transport
implement software to help the smooth running of worker transport services
liaise regularly with HR Managers in key businesses to check what their requirements are for transport
work closely with the existing Partnerships & Projects team to keep up to date with requirements
to set up and coordinate a plan for worker transport for Cumbria’s visitor economy, working closely with key partners e.g. Councils, LEP, LDNPA
look for ways to reduce the number of separate car journeys being made thus reducing carbon emissions and reducing workers requirements for car parking in busy areas etc
work closely with the Sustainable Travel lead to ensure this project dovetails with other key travel projects both in CT and external to CT
Requirements
first class customer service skills
relevant qualifications or proven experience in this field
good presentation skills
the ability to prioritise, organise and work under pressure with the ability to work unsupervised where necessary
