Requirements

  • we are looking for motivated, skilled and experienced individuals who are keen to support improvements in their local communities
  • people with knowledge and/or experience of working within the local voluntary and community sector, with communities and knowledge/understanding of volunteering
  • these roles offer a fantastic opportunity for individuals to support the development, delivery and administration of the Furness for You project across Barrow, which aims to reduce chronic loneliness and develop/improve wellbeing through a range of activities, volunteering and other place-based interventions
  • all individuals need to have good organisational skills, good people skills and be able to communicate effectively both written and spoken, produce effective reports and support and maintain good relationships and partnerships with a wide range of people
