Responsibility
- managing the cafe’s daily operations including opening and closing times
- the opening and closing shifts should be open from 8am-8pm, with each shift lasting approximately 2-3 hours
- we expect you to be on-time each morning
- we expect you to work at least 40 hours per week
- you can work any shift you choose, including 2 or 3 shifts per day, 7am-3pm or 11am-7pm
- the Cafe Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cafe and managing the staff to ensure that all cafe operations are running smoothly
- the Cafe Manager will be responsible for managing the cafe’s schedule, including staffing, opening and closing times, menu creation, and customer service
- each day there will be at least two open days with the possibility of more open days based on business needs
Requirements
- at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- experience in a food service environment preferred
- strong customer service skills required
- ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work well with youth and children preferred but not required
- ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- supervising experience: 1 year
- restaurant management: 1 year
