Responsibility

  • candidates will be required to have a good working knowledge of all core MS Office programmes, use email and the internet
  • previous experience in freight & logistics in military or commercial sectors, heavy lift, maritime cargo, cargo rigging, an understanding of handling of large complex cargo or marine cargo or heavy lift surveying
  • with some of the above experience this role is officed based as part of a team which coordinates and manages cargo risk management load, stow and secure surveys for infrastructure development projects globally and must have a fundamental understanding of the associated processes
  • excellent communication skills both within the open office environment and on the telephone are essential as well as a well organised, methodical and timely approach to all tasks set
  • completing any ad hoc tasks as may be required, preparing associated documentation, this role will communicate daily with clients, partners and all parties involved in the logistics process
