Responsibility
- service and repair trailers to a high standard, in accordance with current legislation
- deliver high levels of customer service
- review each repair order, work order, and estimated notes to understand repairs needed prior to beginning work on the vehicle
- MOT inspections on trailers and HGV's
- basic knowledge and familiarity with air brake and ABS systems and repairs
- ability to perform similar repairs on various types and brands
- complete all Compliance documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- you will need to have the knowledge and experience of servicing and maintaining HGV Trailers, Tail lifts, double decks and power units
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent HGV Mechanic
- full valid driving licence
- excellent communication skills
- basic IT knowledge beneficial
- experience of previously working in a mobile role would be advantageous
- moving deck knowledge desirable but not essential
- be organised and confident of prioritising own workload
