field service engineer
Responsibility
- keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner
- maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure the job is going to plan or to resolve any issues that may arise
- maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated
- the Field Service/Workshop Engineer will be responsible for meeting the service and repair needs of the customer’s equipment in both site and workshop environments located in the UK and overseas
- follow Health, Environmental and Safety guidelines/requirements set by the company and customers
- establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other activities as assigned
- identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new maintenance activities/contracts and replenishment of spare parts
