Responsibility
- pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring all items meet quality standards
- operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels
- handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods from lorries
- conduct quality control checks on packed items to ensure they meet specifications
- assist in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- perform mechanical tasks as needed, such as basic maintenance on packing equipment
- engage in picking and packing duties, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment
- lift heavy items as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury
Requirements
- previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred
- familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
- strong skills in materials handling and stock management
- ability to load and unload goods safely from lorries or storage areas
- knowledge of quality control processes is beneficial
- basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance is desirable
- experience operating forklifts is a plus; relevant certifications are preferred
- capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the role
