Responsibility

  • the Pathway Centre and the Supported Education provision are bespoke provisions for students aged 16-25 with an EHCP
  • students who attend these provisions have a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • most of the students have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder
  • the post includes delivery at the Pathway Centre and the Supported Education provision
  • these could range from mild to Severe Learning Difficulties , Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and speech, language and communication needs
  • they should be a creative Therapist who is highly motivated, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • this post will be a cross-college role and may be based at either College in future years as we further develop provision
  • there will be a requirement to deliver 1:1 and group intervention sessions, and provide initial speech and language assessments
