Responsibility
- maintain and update financial records, including sales and purchase ledgers
- produce sales invoices from our operating system
- maintain sales ledger, liaising with statutory bodies and other funders when required
- maintain purchase ledger, preparing payment run for authorisation
- post bank transactions, and reconcile bank accounts regularly
- collate payroll information for submission to 3rd party processor
- assist with preparation of financial reports and summaries for management review
- assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Requirements
- A recognised accounting qualification, or proven experience
- proficiency in Sage accounting software is essential
- complete trustworthiness
- ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- ability to learn about the various methods of invoicing within the Care sector
- good decision making skills
- ability to analyse and resolve problems effectively and quickly
