Responsibility

  • the Engineering team at CRED is looking for a savvy Data Scientist to join our growing team of analytics experts
  • you must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products
  • mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development and business strategies
  • assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • we use data and intelligence to power footballers, football clubs, brands and other individuals and organisations within the sports space, enabling them to accelerate their financial, commercial and sporting development
  • develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
  • use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes

Requirements

  • bachelor degree in STEM field, especially software engineering, computer science, machine learning, or statistics related
  • experience using statistical computer languages such as R, Python, SQL, etc
  • experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres and Mongo
  • experience with data warehouses such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
  • knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
  • knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts and experience with applications
