Responsibility
- design retail displays using SolidWorks from a client brief to create 3D renders
- program and nest CNC machines to produce parts
- select appropriate materials and tooling for each job
- operate manual and computer-controlled machinery to shape, cut, or form parts
- monitor machine operations to ensure quality control and make adjustments as necessary
- inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- proficient in SolidWorks
- strong knowledge of materials handling, including selecting appropriate materials for specific projects
- familiarity with hand tools and other equipment used in the fabrication process
- ability to design and create 3D renders
- basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- attention to detail for quality control purposes
