- reporting to the Managing Director, Corporate Services, the Manager, Corporate Services manages CPP Investments’ London and Luxembourg corporate facilities and real estate in a manner that aligns with commercial objectives, including delivery of centralized programs and services and accountability for emergency preparedness, business continuity and regulatory compliance
- as a key member of the global Corporate Services team, he/she/they is a service-oriented professional who manages a diverse team of workplace professionals and works closely with local senior management and stakeholders to align with and support the investment departments in the achievement of their business strategies, plans and objectives with the delivery of sustainable and added-value central programs and services
- the Office Manager ensures the delivery of an inspiring and energizing workplace that optimizes operational effectiveness, adapts to the changing needs of the organization, and supports a best-in-class employee experience enabling talent attractiveness and retention

- ensures established governance protocols are adhered to to protect IT rooms from unauthorized access, damage, and interference and to ensure uninterrupted operation of CPPI Investments’ critical IT infrastructure; coordinates power down arrangements in London and Luxembourg; ensures onsite attendance and oversight to ensure smooth running of services
- provides support to the global office managers when required
- ensures security escorts are deployed as/when needed to maintain premises security
- liaises and coordinates with Building Management as /when needed and represents CPP Investments at tenant meetings
- maintains a working knowledge of expenses versus budget
- prepares monthly metrics reports for monthly review by Managing Director
- provides advice, information, and support to senior management regarding local facilities related issues
- partners with and supports the local Admin team; attends monthly Admin meetings
- accountable and responsible for business continuity planning and execution within the scope of the physical premises of the London and Luxembourg offices to ensure critical operations can continue during emergencies
- responsible for the provision of central services such as reception, switchboard, guest services, mail /courier, and housekeeping; and is responsible for managing the team delivering these services
- in partnership with Corporate Security contributes to the preparation of plans, procedures, and training for responding to fire and other emergencies; develops and maintains detailed emergency plans as required; helps lead the response during and after emergencies
- responsible for facility and furniture key management; ensures key logs are maintained
- monitors local changes to regulations and ensures the London and Lux office maintain compliance
- coordinates contractor activities onsite, communicates works to relevant stakeholders
- coordinates and manages all aspects of desk moves and changes
- acts as local Business Continuity Coordinator; participates in the quarterly Business Recovery Plan, the annual Business Impact Analysis review and annual training and testing
