housekeeping supervisor

Working hours

  • part-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • oversee staff on a daily basis
  • check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
  • training housekeepers on cleaning tasks
  • schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence, including employed and contractor cleaners
  • A Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the standards of cleanliness are met
  • overseeing staff performance on a daily basis
  • they assign tasks, inspect work to ensure it's up to standard, and provide training on how to best handle customers' requests

Requirements

  • work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
  • hands-on experience with cleaning tasks as you will need to lead by example
  • ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
  • excellent organizational and team management skills
  • stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
  • flexibility to work various shifts, including Bank Holidays and weekends. Availability to work during school holidays is essential
