Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • support the design and manufacture of electrical equipment and related control systems for Cathodic Protection
  • generate product Technical Files to include bills of materials, built instructions and technical manuals
  • generate schematic diagrams and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD
  • be involved in costing activities for materials and parts
  • provide technical support for the wire assembly operatives and the Test Engineer
  • support the testing and debugging of prototype and new design equipment and software
  • provide customer support regarding warranties and failures, power supplies and commissioning, installation and operations
  • build prototypes to determine technical feasibility

Requirements

  • previous experience of working within electrics/electronics, or an electrical/electronic engineering degree or equivalent
  • previous experience of using AutoCAD would be preferred
  • excellent attention to detail
  • able to multi-task and keep a number of plates in the air at any one time
  • this is an Assistant/Trainee position and full training, and support will be provided to the successful candidate
