A Valid enhanced DBS vetting check
it is essential that the successful candidate has excellent written and digital communication skills
experience of creative, outstanding storytelling with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and can bring ideas to the fore
experience in managing social media, creating engaging content and engaging with others online
good knowledge and interest in cricket is preferred but not essential
proven experience and track record in fundraising and writing grants
proven experience in generating income against targets
passionate about promoting the Cornwall Cricket’s on and off-field activities across its community and commercial initiatives
Responsibility
working with colleagues and member organisations, championing local and national initiatives which showcase how Cornwall Cricket is working at the heart of the local community
any other duties reasonably requested by the Managing Director and the Board

the safeguarding and support of children and adults in cricket is of paramount importance to us all
cornwall Cricket is at the heart of communities across Cornwall, supporting and enhancing communities by providing people with opportunities to engage and participate in a safe and enjoyable activity
our vital work is supported by the funding from the National Governing Bodies, charities and grant making organisations, along with public donations
we are looking for a Marketing and Fundraising Officer to help increase the visibility of Cornwall Cricket in the County’s media, businesses and local communities to support the financial sustainability of Cornwall Cricket
it is the intention of this post to generate enough income for Cornwall Cricket so the position is self-funding and to add income to Cornwall Cricket annually
