Responsibility
- job Title: EPOS/IT Field Engineer
- providing top-tier support to clients, from remote assistance to on-site troubleshooting
- location: Redruth, Cornwall
- configuration, testing, and installation of EPOS, Payment, IT, CCTV, and communication solutions to a client’s specifications
- assisting with merchant and helpdesk queries
- configuring basic networks, including IP assignments and cabling
- installing CCTV systems and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of tech trends
- working both in the Redruth office and out in the field, including occasional travel within Cornwall and abroad
Requirements
- relevant IT qualifications
- any qualifications relating to networking IP, DHCP, subnets, bridges, routers, switches & firewalls etc
- familiarity with bulk device management
- confident in using tools and experience in building/electrical trades relevant to larger cabling installations
- experience in the hospitality industry in customer-facing and management roles
