Responsibility

  • undertake planned preventive maintenance work
  • performing periodic inspections on plant equipment and machinery
  • fault finding/repairs/installation to production plant, services, and equipment
  • ensure that machinery and equipment are kept in good working order
  • ensure that machinery and equipment meet safety regulations
  • intervening immediately in the event of breakdowns, failures, or malfunctions
  • repairing and/or replacing broken or defective components
  • checking repaired components and machinery to ensure normal functionality has been restored

Requirements

  • engineering qualification in relevant area
  • good verbal and written communication

  • experience of working within a manufacturing, engineering, or chemical environment
