setting up of project files MCS accreditation O&M manual assistance recording meeting minutes tracking of key project data supporting with raising PO’s producing and documenting procedure methodologies other requirements as per the demands of the role the ideal candidate will have experience with administrating projects or a strong eagerness to learn strong Interpersonal and communication skills strong organisational and time management skills excellent attention to detail ability to deal with time-pressured activities ability to build relationships and good rapport with all stakeholders create designs, estimations, bills of materials and provide support for the bid team support technical site surveys provide support documentation for company reports, both on a monthly and ad hoc basis maintain Client and supply chain relationships provide sustainability advice across the work spectrum when requested develop and maintain a technical library to include all current and forthcoming changes to legislation promote and uphold a sound health and safety culture across the company ensure projects are designed to the highest quality of engineering and technical standards strong commercial M&E design background HNC/HND/Degree Electrical engineering proficient in the use of AutoCAD, software Essential proficient in the use of Relux, Dialux, software minimum 3 years’ experience designing and estimating commercial M&E projects previous experience designing commercial Solar PV projects is desirable but not essential ground mounted PV and battery storage experience is highly desirable engineering technical excellence and pride in work / project outcomes research potential new leads and generate business opportunities for solar PV installations within the Commercial & Industrial sector contacting prospective clients through a variety of platforms i.e., phone, social media, email and face to face meetings identify, develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and strategic partners using a variety of marketing tools evaluate site energy data to determine a suitable system size for PV generation meet quarterly and annual KPI targets for targeted turnover, providing regular forecast updates and sales figures to the National BDM generate and manage a developing pipeline using the company’s CRM system which is to be maintained daily participate in trade shows, industry meetings and conferences as a company representative protect the interests of the Company and develop good working relationships with Clients, Consultants, Sub-contractors and Suppliers network of contacts and existing relationships full driving license previous experience of working autonomously previous experience selling roof mounted non-domestic Solar PV projects ground mounted PV and battery storage experience ability to deal with complex tasks under pressure battery storage understanding clear communicator, confident in communicating and influencing at all levels organising the various stakeholders working on a project liaise with the internal sales/commercial team & clients to fully understand project objectives and develop project programmes/plans take complete control and ownership of all aspects of project delivery supervise and control all electrical duties, engineers and contractors on site ensure all operatives are fully productive, cost efficient and maintain a professional image, resulting in performance requirements being met manage all project-related correspondence, schedules, plans, deliverables, and documentation manage all aspects of personal and project H&S to current legislation and best practice, including RAMs promote and uphold a sound health and safety culture across the company the ideal candidate will have a background in commercial heating, HVAC or Building services experience delivering commercial heat pump projects technical excellence and pride in work / project outcomes strong Project Management skills.
