Responsibility
- we are NOT looking for a telecomms engineer with limited fibre experience
- they must also be H&S conscious and take pride in their work
- they will be responsible for the following duties
- installation of short to medium distance fibre optic cabling through underground ducting
- termination/splicing of 4-144 core fibre optic cables in a variety of panels/enclosures
- due to continued business growth we are looking to recruit experienced and dependable fibre engineers to join our multiskilled nationwide installation team
- underground Jointing/splicing of 4-144 core fibre optic cables
- the successful candidates will be installing fibre optic systems and associated equipment in a variety of internal and external locations across the UK, they will be prepared to learn new skills such as networking and wireless transmission, and will be happy working alone, or as part of a team
Requirements
- installation of Multimode and Singlemode fibre optic systems in a variety of environments
- A Full UK Driving License
- first Aid
- comfortable working alone or as part of a team
- CSCS/ECS Card
- manual Handling
- understanding and Working to job packs
- C&G or Equivalent in Fibre optics and/or Copper
