- producing a range of products to set recipes and standards, including gin, vodka, liqueur and cocktails
- bottling, labelling & assembling products
- maintaining accurate production records and carrying out data entry on in-house stock management systems
- purchasing, receiving and storing raw materials and performing regular stock takes
- adhering to strict food safety, alcohol and health and safety legislation
- you will be an integral part of our small and friendly production team, where you will play a vital role in crafting award-winning, sustainable spirits—proudly sold and served by some of the nation’s top institutions and Michelin-star establishments
- undertaking routine product quality control and reporting and rectifying quality issues
Requirements
- experience in the spirits, distilling or brewing industry is essential
- A qualification in brewing, distilling or related subjects is desirable
- an ability to diagnose production issues and problem solve is desirable
- strong time management and organisation skills, with the ability to multitask
- excellent level of numeracy and literacy
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- due to the rural location of the distillery, a driving licence is desirable
- spirits, distilling or brewing industry: 1 year
