- reporting to the site and workshop supervisors or dedicated charge hands you will be working to tight deadlines installing new processing equipment or making modifications to existing systems
Requirements
- experience of working in food production environments
- hygienic TIG and stainless steel MIG welding
- working to approved welding procedures in accordance to ISO 9606-1
- measuring, cutting and fitting of stainless steel and mild steel pipework
- use of workshop equipment including guillotine, pressbrake, bandsaw, powered rolls and lathe
- understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and fabrication of pipework following drawings
- using 2 and 3D drawings to fabricate and weld to close tolerances
- experience in fabrication of structural platforms to BS EN1090-2
