Responsibility
- we are looking for both a field service engineer and a workshop based engineer
- pay negotiable depending on experience
- we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Plant Repair Department as the company grows
- operate & inspect plant or equipment in order to diagnose defects
- diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment
- repair & replace damaged or worn parts
- test plant or equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance
- you will be required to carry out maintenance, fault-finding and repairs to a wide range of construction plant and recycling equipment throughout London and home counties
Requirements
- ideally qualification as plant mechanic/fitter or similar experience considered with a view for further training
- proven experience working with a range of plant equipment, machines and hydraulic equipment
- confident in the diagnosis of electrical and hydraulic systems
- good time management, organisation skills and be able to work to deadlines
- ability to prioritise own workload and manage expectations
- ability to weld would be an advantage
- attention to detail
