Responsibility

  • work closely with the lead developer and product managers to build scalable, high-performance, futureproof services
  • build efficient, testable and reusable PHP modules
  • solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience using PHP and MySQL
  • evidence Source Control management
  • some exposure to WordPress would be useful but not essential
  • worked with a project management tool such as Jira for issue tracking
  • good communication skills including remote collaboration
  • good appreciation of the infrastructure stack / understanding of HTTP, DNS and SSL
  • NET: 1 year
  • excellent understanding of Git, branches, pull requests, merges, deployment procedures, pipelines etc
