Responsibility

  • the role of an Assistant Branch Manager is to support the Branch Manager in maximising branch profits through effective sales
  • being the main point of contact in the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager
  • motivating the team to achieve branch targets
  • due to continued success and expansion, we have a rare opportunity at our East Kilbride depot for an Assistant Manager
  • reviewing financial reports, dealing with any queries which may arise
  • the ideal candidate must have a can do attitude and previous internal sales experience, with good knowledge of building materials, coming from within a builders merchant environment
  • promoting good housekeeping within the Branch, Yard and Warehouse to provide a safe place for all members of staff and customers
  • any other duties as required by the business
