Responsibility
- interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications
- lay bricks, stone blocks, and other materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys, and other structures
- cut and trim bricks using hand tools or power saws
- mix mortar or grout according to standard formulas
- ensure structures are level and aligned using plumb lines and spirit levels
- repair or replace damaged bricks or faulty mortar
- work on various surfaces including roofs when required
Requirements
- proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
- proficient in masonry techniques including welding and carpentry skills
- ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- strong knowledge of different types of bricks and stones
- attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
